Bartlett Parks Foundation Events

The Bartlett Parks Foundation hosts several special fundraising events throughout the year including the Wine and Beer Tasting, 4th of July Turbo Turtle Race, Golf “Fore” the Playground Golf Outing, and Twilight Golf Outing. Proceeds from the Foundation fundraisers go toward the Inclusive Playground, Bartlett Park District’s Resident Financial Aid Scholarship Fund, educational programs for the Bartlett Nature Center, artwork for the community to enjoy, and other charitable activities.

Wine and Beer Tasting: Friday, February 23, 2018

This fundraising event held at Villa Olivia is open to ages 21 and over and includes beverage tasting, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, raffle, and live entertainment by Blonde on Board duo Tammy and Rick. Register at Bartlett Community Center or through PayPal below. Please bring your receipt with you to the event. Villa Olivia is located at 1401 W. Lake Street in Bartlett.


Wine and Beer Tasting Registration



Turbo Turtle Race: Tuesday, July 4 at 4pm

Turbo Turtle Race Tickets are available beginning in May of each year at the Bartlett Community Center or from a Foundation Trustee. Tickets are also available at the Fourth of July Festival and at the Bartlett Aquatic Center 30 minutes prior to the race on July 4th. Each ticket is $10 or purchase a turbo pack of 11 turtles for $100. Proceeds go to the Free To Be Me Inclusive Playground. For more information call Stephanie Baxter at 630-540-4824. Drive “Fore” the Playground Golf Outing: Friday, July Date TBA

This annual event held at Villa Olivia includes several game holes including Beat the Pro, Longest Drive, Longest Putt, and more. Date will be announced soon. Get your foursome together and enjoy a great day of golf for a wonderful cause.

Twilight Golf Outing: Friday, September Date TBA

Enjoy a unique evening of golf, dinner, award presentations, and raffle while helping to support the Bartlett Parks Foundation. Check-in for the event starts at the Donald Schrade Gymnasium, 694 W. Stearns Road, Bartlett, followed by dinner and nine holes of twilight golf at Apple Orchard Golf Course. Fee includes dinner, adult beverage tickets, glow in the dark golf ball and necklace, 9 holes of golf and a goody bag. Golfers need to bring clubs, small flashlight and insect spray. You can sign up alone and we’ll place you in a group, or you can grab three of your friends and sign up as a foursome. We will be playing “best-ball” during this outing.  Age: 21 and over Location: Donald Schrade Gymnasium and Apple Orchard Golf Course.
